Get involved

A crisis line needs people before it needs money.

The 24/7 support centre is designed and it is not running, because we do not yet have the people to answer it. We would rather say that than publish a number nobody picks up.

Mental Health Support

Who we are looking for

Clinical

Psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists and crisis interventionists willing to take shifts on a line that will run around the clock.

Trained volunteers

People with crisis-line or support-line training, or willing to complete it before taking calls.

Everything else

Fundraising, law, construction, accounting, translation, design. A hospital is not built only by clinicians.

Write to us at the registered office with what you can do and how much time you have. We will not put anyone on a line before they are ready for it.

To be published in early 2027

Your data

What happens to what you send us

If you write to us offering to volunteer, here is what we do with your message — in short, as little as possible.

  • The controller is Fundacja European Mental Health Foundation, ul. Ignacego Krasickiego 124K/1, Nowa Wola, 05-500 Mysiadlo, Poland (KRS 0001034164).
  • We use it only to reply to you and, if it is a volunteer offer, to keep in touch about volunteering — on the basis of art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • We keep correspondence for up to 12 months, volunteer records until you withdraw or 24 months after we last hear from you.
  • We do not pass it to anyone outside our hosting provider, OVH SAS, whose servers are in the European Union.
  • You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete what we hold, and you can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Warsaw.

Please do not send us medical or health details. We are not a clinic and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, contact the emergency services or a crisis line in your country. The full Privacy Policy explains the rest.
