Our Mission
At the European Mental Health Foundation, our mission is to promote mental well-being as a fundamental part of human health across the European Union. We work to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and advocate for accessible, high-quality mental health services for all.Through education, research, and cross-sector collaboration, we aim to support individuals, communities, and institutions in understanding and addressing the complex challenges of mental health in modern society.We believe that mental health is not a privilege, but a human right — and that a healthy mind is essential for a healthy society.
Our Foundation
The European Mental Health Foundation was established in the beginning of 2023 with a mission to advance the understanding of mental health across Europe. Until now, our main focus has been on research and raising awareness of mental well-being.
In 2025, we entered a new chapter: with a refreshed C-level management team bringing new energy and innovative ideas, we are expanding into new projects and initiatives aimed at making a tangible impact on mental health policy, education, and support systems throughout the EU.
Main areas of our responsibilites
> Foundation
We are building a foundation dedicated to supporting comprehensive mental health and emotional well-being for people across the European Union — regardless of age, background, or life situation.
> Mental Health Support
Our goal is to establish a European Mental Health Support Center — a 24/7 crisis hub providing immediate, professional help to anyone facing a mental health emergency.
> Mental Health Projects
As part of our long-term vision, we are developing a Mental Health Hospital, combining open and secure units, a support center for the elderly and socially excluded, and an advanced research hub focused on mental well-being in Europe.
> Mental Health Researches
Our research will focus primarily on schizophrenia and depression, while also exploring effective treatment options and, above all, developing innovative methods of mental health prevention.
